WOW! CM OPS takes the bold step to conduct Jallikattu in two days

At last, the Tamil Nadu Government has decided to do justice to lakhs and lakhs of protesters in favor of Jallikattu.

The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O.Panneerselvam has announced that his government has decided to promulgate an ordinance to conduct Jallikattu the traditional bull-taming sport which has been banned by the Supreme Court of Indian on May 7, 2014.

The CM has said that the Emergency will be promulgated by making an amendment to the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act at the State level. The draft of the ordinance has been sent to the Union Home Ministry. It will be passed after getting the due consent from the Tamil Nadu Governor in a day or two.

The honorable CM has also assured that Jallikattu will be conducted within two days.

This is completely the success of the Tamil people, especially the thousands and thousands of students, youngsters, women and children who have been protesting for Jallikattu at various parts of Tamil Nadu including the Marina Beach, Chennai for the past three days.

Hats off to each and every protester from the Tamil community who dared to protest against the powers that be to safeguard their Tamil identity and also the CM O.Panneerselvam for his bold step in favor of Tamil people and the heritage.

Meanwhile the protesters at Chennai Marina have announced that they will not withdraw their protest at least until the ordinance is passed and the permanent solution is reached in Jallikattu issue.
