Tamil Nadu BJP president Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has blamed DMK working president M.K. Stalin of practicing hypocrisy in respect of Hindi teaching in Schools.

Stalin had recently gone on record stating that the DMK would fight ‘tooth and nail’ the Centre’s attempt to impose the tri-language formula on the State. “Through NEET and the various Navodaya Vidyalayas, the Centre appears to have decided to set in motion the process of imposing Sanskrit and Hindi.  In fact, this appears to have been their action plan right from the beginning,” he had commented.

Taking on Stalin while addressing newsmen in Chennai yesterday, Tamilisai said that Stalin’s political future had become so ‘bleak’ that he had taken up the non-existing issue of imposition of Hindi and Sanskrit as he has no other issues to politicize to stay in the limelight. “Lack of political issues makes persons like Stalin act as if they love their mother-tongue,” Tamilisai thundered.

“BJP cadres have more regard and respect for Tamil than Stalin or other DMK leaders might have,” she said and added that Stalin shouldn’t be speaking against Hindi and Sanskrit as everybody is aware that schools run by Stalin’s family members were teaching Hindi.
