Director Selvaraghavan`s announcemennt that his Simbu starrer Kaan` is put on hold indefinitely must have come as a huge disappointment for Tapsee Pannu, one of the leading ladies in the film. But there is much to cheer for Tapsee as she has just been signed as the heroine in producer C.V.Kumar`s directorial debut.

Through his Thirukumaran Entertainment C.V. Kumar has introduced many new wave directors such as Pa Ranjith, Karthick Subbaraj, Nalan Kumaraswamy and many others. The as yet untitled Tamil/Telugu bilingual by C.V. Kumar has Sundeep Kishan a former assistant of Gautham Menon as the hero and the details of the rest of the cast and crew will be out soon.
