Tarun Mansukhani turns assistant director again for 'Bombay Talkies'

After winning hearts with his debut movie ‘Dostana’ (starring Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra) Tarun Manusukhani he will be next seen assisting Karan Johar for ‘Bombay Talkies’.

Tarun recently made news for getting on board again for the sequel of ‘Dostana’ and the movie is all set to go on floors at the end of this year. The filmmaker who has closely worked with Karan on many projects like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ and ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’, thus now has his hands full with both these new projects.

According to sources, Karan was keen to have Tarun as his associate director for ‘Bombay Talkies’.

‘Bombay Talkies’, a project that is an ode to Indian cinema for completing 100 years, has four different directors - Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar.

Quoted the sources, "It will be a landmark feature film this year as it releases on May 3. We celebrate 100 years of cinema on this date. Karan is very kicked about the film and that’s why he called him to come and assist him so that the movie comes out great."
