It is as simple as this - if 'Tees Maar Khan' is indeed a massy entertainer as it proclaims to be, first weekend record of 'Dabangg' is all set to be broken. If not, it would still enjoy the second biggest opening of the year at least (better than 'Golmaal 3' and 'Raajneeti') as there are quite a few takers who are rooting for for 'Sheila Ki Jawani' and Akshay-Farah combination.

What goes in favour of 'Tees Maar Khan' is the fact that while 'Dabangg' had opened on Eid, it is coming on Christmas which means there is a wider holiday season ahead. From Christmas till the New Year weekend, number of people would be on vacation which means that there would be an intent to watch a film. However it all boils down to the fact that whether the film by itself is good or not.

All of this means that the other two movies of the week could have rather opted for a better release period. 'Toonpur Ka Superherro' is a live-animation film which means that it's market is anyways restricted. The promotion has been good though while Ajay Devgn too is on a high after a terrific year. Still, 'Tees Maar Khan' juggernaut means that 'Toonpur Ka Superherro' would have to be a distant second here. Now if only the film would have opted for a better slot during summer vacations, it's eventual outcome would have been far better than what it would be now.

As for 'Isi Life Mein', one wonders what was the compulsion for Barjatyas to bring their film now. When they had already waited for a while, they could have perhaps waited a wee bit longer and arrived with much lesser competition. Suicidal to say the least, 'Isi Life Mein' has a new director, actor and actress at the helm of affairs and though it is being promoted quite well, it has a very minimal chance to find much audience for itself. The only saving grace is the fact that since it is being released on a very few screens, the occupancy will look better. However, the collections would be on a lower note. The strategy here would be to sustain the film in theaters for a few weeks in succession and then expect word of mouth to catch up in a big way.
