Tension soars as Bajrang Dal men slap Hisar imam

A group of Bajrang Dal men has been recorded slapping and heckling an imam (priest) of a mosque in Hisar district, during protests on the Amarnath yatra terror attack.

A group of seven Bajrang Dal men were protesting the terror attack, in which seven people were killed, near Lohoriya Chowk. They then stepped up to an imam, identified as Mohammed Yaseen, and attacked him after he refused to say Vande Mataram` and Bharat Mata ki Jai`, and protested to being forced to say the slogans.

Yaseen is also a mango trader. The local traders` association complained to the police about the incident. Security has been increased in the area.
