Vikram's next 'Thaandavam', which is slated to hit the screens Friday next (September 28), has been cleared by the Censor Board with a clean 'U' certificate.

This means there will be no age restrictions to watch the film. Meanwhile, producers UTV Motion Pictures are making elaborate arrangements to ensure that the movie releases in as many screens as possible.

Directed by A L Vijay, who had earlier worked with Vikram in 'Deiva Thirumagal', 'Thaandavam' is an action thriller in which the 'Chiyaan' plays a visually challenged man with echolocation skills.

With Anushka Shetty, Amy Jackson and Lakshmi Rai as the leading ladies, the film features Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu in a crucial role. Music is by G V Prakash Kumar and this is his 25th film.
