Ajith-Goautham-Ajith55 Sequel

The director who has ready not given away much about the movie itself, says there is a possibility that he might come up with a sequel for it, if everything falls in place. Gautham Menon has reserved to be choosy about what to divulge about the movie, and has kept almost everything under wraps, starting from plot to its title. But he did open up on it's release, the title of a song and various other things, in a recent candid interaction. "When we set out on this project, Ajith told me to make the movie in a manner comfortable to me. So I am under no pressure from any front, and hence, I didn't have to go out of the way to include commercial elements to the movie. The sketch of Sathyadev (Ajith's screen name in 'Thala 55') has come out really well, and the plot itself is worthy of a sequel" says GVM, whose forte is romance. So how about the flow of romance in the flick? "We recently shot for the song that goes 'Mazhai Varapoguthey'. It is a romantic number and it has come out impressively well. It is my comfort with certain actors that make them my primary choice for my projects. Among the heroines, Trisha tops the list, and among heroes, Simbu is my all time favourite; now Ajith has gotten added to the list," says GVM, who specifically does not include Suirya to the list. "When Suriya walked out of 'Dhruva Natchathiram', I was disappointed, but not for more than three hours. I believe that the reason he quoted points that 'Dhruva Natchathiram' is not a story that he wanted to hear, unlike what he actually stated. However, after the project was dropped, my film with Simbu got fixed soon afterwards, and I started shooting with Ajith from the following week. Things have only gotten better" says Gautam, upbeat.

The director further revealed "I had long wanted to work with Ajith, but somehow it didn't happen until now. We want to retain the suspense over the film, which is the reason we have not declared the title yet, though I have one in mind. And, it is not related to Ajith's screen name, as suggested by him. We plan to release this flick by year end, and have the audio launch a month ahead. And as for the project with Simbu, it still is on. For those of you, who thought that the project has been shelved or dropped, I want you to know that it is neither. I am waiting to complete my project with Ajith, and once done, we will shoot for 30 more days to wrap up the Simbu project."
