Thalaiva

Get ready for a Vijay showdown, and by Vijay it does not mean just Ilayathalapathy, Thalaivaa has the Protagonist, and the director who wields the megaphone boasting the same name. Post Thuppaki, Vijay's outlook tweaked a little higher than you can expect with the style quotient on all-time peak. With Amala Paul, Santhanam and Sathyaraj in the lead cast can we expect anything short of enigmatic entertainment?

AL Vijay the director who is known to depict the other side of variety cinema, his movies never sticking to one genre, and they are all diverse by nature. He counts big on this movie as Vijay fever is very contagious in Tamil Nadu and he knows that pretty well. Ilayathalapathy has sizzled in dance, act and action according to the director as it involves a movie about how circumstances lead an ordinary man to a path of test and aggression.

The trailer shows Vijay in Australia tap dancing and romancing Amala Paul, going about joking with Santhanam, in a flash at Mumbai with Sathyaraj. Ever since the movie was announced there were wide spread speculations if the movie is on the same page of Nayagan, Devar Magan, however the director has silenced the critics by claiming that one has to watch the movie before jumping into conclusions and the entire team has been very careful in not making any resemblances to those movies.

This also marks Sathyaraj's second outing with Vijay and after a comic yet sentimental outing in Nanban, this movie looks like a very much stern and serious role from the actor. Amala Paul plays the love interest of Vijay and Santhanam to take care of the comedy segment. Vijay's dance and style are the two piping parameters to look out for, as the elevation this movie will take him is a watch out factor.

GV Prakash's music has already made the FM's go gaga with "Vangana" by Vijay trending the charts, so BGM is something very soulful in AL Vijay's movies, so their bond is intact from the start. The marketing spree has already given enough promotions, and producers are sparing nothing from reaching out to everyone.

So mark your calendars Aug 9, the festive occasion marks "Time to lead" campaign! Try and block the tickets, for this will be a feast! What do you say??
