The shooting for Jeeva's Thamizh MA is on at the temple town of Thiruvannamalai. The movie is produced by M R Creations and is directed by debutant Ram.

Jeeva has gone in for a different makeup in the movie and has grown long beard and big moustache. The movie dwells on the neglect of the Tamil language in today's society and demands the same respect for Tamil as is given to English. A new face Anjali is the heroine.

At the shoot in Thiruvannamalai temple, a huge crowd besieged Jeeva and sought autograph from him. Director Ram also shot a scene at the Kannappar temple in the Girivalam path amidst the huge crowd.
