Rajsekhar, the Angry Young Man of the 1990s, is a rare star-father. Why do we say this? When his elder daughter Shivani told him she wants to become an artiste, he gave her the freedom to pursue her persuasion.

"A doctor's kid can become a doctor. A lawyer's kid can become a lawyer. A politician's kid can become a politician. In the same way, an actor's kids can become actors/actresses. Had I had a son, I would have made him an artiste. I now want to make my daughters artistes," Rajsekhar says.

The younger daughter Shivatmika is also keen on acting. In fact, she recently approached Praveen Sattaru with the request to direct her in a Hollywood remake. When Sattaru asked her to learn kick-boxing first so as to be able to perform the role, she started working on it.

All that Rajsekhar advised his daughters when they evinced interest in acting was to attain proper academic credentials first. Shivani, who is currently doing her 3rd of MBBS, will debut before her younger sis.
