Come August 11th, 'Jaya Janaki Nayaka' will hit the screens. The optimistic aura that has come to surround the movie is because Boyapati Sreenu has apparently moved away from his conventional story-telling style.

It's a love story that is at the core.

Rakul Preet Singh has been quoted saying by a national daily that there is a twist in the tale, which is why she is sporting both traditional as well as Western outfits in the family entertainer.

It goes without saying that this big-budgeted movie is a litmus test for Bellamkonda Sreenivas. He has to deliver a hit (if not a blockbuster) because, in terms of combination (Boyapati-DSP-Jagapathi-Rakul), he can't ask for more.
