The summer is here; so do the superhero movies. This time it's the, Spider-Man who comes with a tag called 'Amazing' for the second time. Will he justify the tag? Yes, to a great extent. The second instalment of, Amazing Spiderman trilogy kicks off with the scientist, Richard Parker recording a message to explain his disappearance. He and his wife, Mary get killed on a private jet. In the very next scene, the Spiderman makes his grand entrance with his signature swinging & jumping across the towers of, New York. He starts his usual counter attack towards the evil and save the lives of fellow people.

In order to save the Plutonim Vials which gets hijacked from, Oscorp, he saves, Max Dillion (Jamie Foxx) who works as an Electrical Engineer at the, Oscorp. In one of those encounters, Spidey says that, Max is not a nobody. He is somebody and the city needs him. Especially Spidey needs him. Max gets cheered up with those words and starts to admire the Spiderman. On a freaky incident, Max falls into a tank of genetically modified, Electric Eels. This results him turning into a living electric generator.

Meanwhile, Spidey has kept fighting within himself and does not want to lose his girlfriend, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) too. Gwen decides to move to, London, for her higher studies. While discussing the same, Max wanders at, Time Square and causes a complete power blackout. Spidey's attempt to calm down, Max fails miserably and Max feels that he was set up by Spiderman. He goes berserk and causes major damage. Spidey eventually stops him, and Max being taken to the criminal custody.

On a sub plot to pen down the third instalment, director Marc Webb, reinstates, Harry Osborn, Spidey's (Peter Pakere) childhood friend, returns to, Manhattan to see his father who is about to die, Norman, CEO of Oscorp. He explains the hereditary illness, and Harry is at the age where it is about to develop. Eventually, Harry deduces that, Spidey's blood could be used as an injection to save his life. On a parallel plot, Spidey discovers the video to get to know why his dad abandoned him, and the secret behind the DNA setup to build genetically enhanced spiders at the Oscorb lab. Peter (Spidey) meets Harry and politely refuses that he can't give his blood to save him, which might result negatively too. The Oscorp board members fire Harry for covering up, Max's accident. Felicia (Felicity Jones) informs harry about an equipment that could help him. Harry breaks into Criminal Institute, and releases Max. He pleads for his help, and reignites the rival against, Spidey.

Harry finds a suit of armour, another equipment made by his dad and a, Venom. Instead of curing him, he turns hideous. What happens next has been visualized in the most jaw dropping way. The stunt sequences in the pre-climax has been shot and executed brilliantly. Especially, the moment, Spidey sends his web to save his girlfriend was a stunner. Unfortunately, Gwen gets caught in the web and hit the floor at the same time to lose her life. After overcoming the obstacle from, Electro (Max Dillion) the story ends with a exciting note that, Spidey is all set to counter attack the, Harry and Man in Shadows from the prequel.

Technically the movie is top notch, and could emerge as the best ever `Spider-Man' to be shot so aesthetically. Hans Zimmer's BGM fits the script like a well stitched glove. The real/reel life couple, Andrew Garfield (Spider-Man) and Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy) scores and kisses so passionately. The movie ends with a kid taking on a giant Rhino since, Spider-Man was not in action for almost 5 months because of his distress. We all knew that, Spidey would come for the rescue to save the kid. He comes back swirling, swinging, and jumping to take on the, Rhino.

Like that Kid, we all expect another episode of, Spider-Man to fulfill our craving for being a, Superhero. This Amazing Spiderman is on the verge of creating another superlative name for himself.

Verdict : Go for it. With 3D glasses you would end up swinging and swirling like the most lovable superhero.
