Though he had started his career with action films like 'Hulchul' and 'Deewangee', film maker Anees Bazmee drifted towards making multi starrers in years to follow and resultantly also saw much bigger success coming his way. While 'No Entry', 'Welcome' and 'Singh Is Kinng' are three biggest examples of that, 'No Problem' is the only film where Bazmee couldn't repeat the success.

Nevertheless, one does wonder if this is a conscious approach that Bazmee has taken where each of his films must have at least 3-4 main leads, case in point being his upcoming 'Thank You' (Akshay Kumar, Irrfan Khan, Bobby Deol, Suneil Shetty, Sonam Kapoor).

"No, not really," Bazmee negates the observation here, "All of it just happens when a story I write turns out to be the one that has importance of each of its characters. Then one has to look for many actors to perform these parts. But then tomorrow if there is a film which requires only one or two principal characters, I don't have to make a multi starrer. 'Ready' with only Salman Khan and Asin is an example of that. Then there is also 'It's My Life' with Harman Baweja and Genelia D'Souza."

Point noted Anees. While 'Thank You' is slated for 8th April release, 'Ready' arrives on 3rd June and 'It's My Life' later this year.
