It is a season of pointing fingers. While politicians are blaming Kushboo for her tact-less remarks, the actress herself has blamed the media for the whole controversy.

Kushboo, who is at the centre of all controversy for her alleged remarks on pre-marital sex, has blamed media of giving a different picture and outing her in a soup.

In an interview to a vernacular weekly, the actress apparently referring to the interview, said such an interview was given by me only keeping in mind, the changing social condition and the spread of dreadful AIDS among people. ‘I gave it with a good intention'.

However subsequent reports in media over the interview, has really given a twist to it all.

An agonized Kushboo said ‘I have been living in Chennai for the last two decades and I respect the people and their culture. I feel I am a part of it. In no way I would issue statements which would harm their culture'.

Stating that her privacy and peace of mind was lost, the actress denied seeking the help of the Nadigar Sangam or its president Vijayakanth to bail her out from trouble as reported in some sections of the press.

'Had I upset the sentiments of the people, I would seek apology from you all', she added.

But the blame game doesn't look like ending.
