Director Venkat Prabhu revealed the meaning of the title Masss` at the press meet held this evening attended by Suriya, Premji, Karunaas, Sriman, Yuvan Shankar Raja and other cast and crew members.

In the movie Suriya`s name is Masilamani and thus the shortened version of the name has become the title Masss`
