The second schedule of Padmakumar's 'Kanal' has begun. The shooting is on at Kochi. Mohanlal's parts were canned at Doha and the second schedule mainly features the other lead actors including Anoop Menon, Sheelu Abraham and Honey Rose.

'Kanal' is a revenge saga and is set mainly against the backdrop of the desert. Deception and subsequent revenge is the movie's premise. Some intense and thrilling action and mind games can be expected from this movie.
