The theatres across the state will remain closed December 15. The reason - the Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners Association will show their solidarity with Tamil Nadu in the Mullaiperiyar Dam issue.

In accordance with this issue all theatres across the state will remain closed on December 15. The general secretary of the association Mr. Paneerselvan has also revealed that the association would go in for a hunger strike on that day.

Many protests are being held on this issue throughout the state with the Mullai Periyar Dam issue ballooning bigger. December 15 will see nearly 1500 theatres shutting down in supporting the state. This, the media gurus reveal will mount in a huge loss for nearly 10 crore rupees for the theatre owners.
