Filmmaker Raja is all smiles when he talks about Malaysia, where a major part of his forthcoming venture 'Thillalangadi', starring 'Jayam' Ravi, has been shot.

Heaping laurels on the Malaysian government, he says, "we shot an action sequence on busy roads there with the permission from the police authorities. We shot the scene with three cameras and traffic came to standstill".

"The authorities there are very helpful. Equally cooperative and friendly are the Malaysian people," he says and adds: "We shot non-stop for 30 days in Malaysia. Our earlier venture 'M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi' too was shot there a few years ago.'

Produced by 'Editor' Mohan, 'Thillalangadi' has Tamannah and Shaam in pivotal roles. It also has Prabhu, Suhasini, Vadivelu, Santhanam, Mansoor Ali Khan, Livingstone and Mayilsami.

"Shaam is doing almost a parallel role to Ravi, while Vadivelu is in a full length role. It is going to be an energetic entertainer. The highlight of the movie is a song featuring ‘Jayam’ Ravi and Tamannah that is set to tunes by Yuvan Shankar Raja," says Raja.
