Thirumurugan in big league

Director Thirumurugan is a happy and a relieved man now. His maiden directorial venture on big screen Em Mahan has been receiving good reviews and more his family sentiments have struck the audience on the right note.

A visibly thrilled Thirumurugan, says, 'People are always encouraging and appreciative. They have welcomed my movie. Womenfolk have started to throng theatres. It is a positive sign'.

After capturing the small screen audience with his mega-serial Metti Oli, Thirumurugan has managed to cast his magical spell on cine fans with Em Mahan.

A film institute student, Thirumurugan, says, 'The success of Em Mahan will give identity to several directors currently working in mega serials. It also proves a point that film institute students can do a good job.'

Heaping praises on the cast and crew in the movie, the director says, 'Everyone understood the importance of their roles in the movie and gave their best. I should thank all of them'.

Asked about his future plans, Thirumurugan, says, 'I am planning to commence my next movie very soon. Also efforts are on to direct a mega-serial in a popular satellite channel.'
