Amidst lot of expectations and fanfare on one hand and apprehensions on the other, Ram Charan's 'Thoofan', the Telugu version of Bollywood Zanjeer V 2.0 will launch its audio on the 27th August. The film is all set to hit the floors on the 6th September as scheduled. RCT played the iconic powerful cop Vijay Khanna's role with Priyanka Chopra doing the damsel in distress Mala's role.

The movie has heavyweight stars such as Srihari (Sanjay Dutt in Hindi), Prakash Raj as the mafia don, Mahi Gill and Tanikella Bharani in a special role. The movie is being directed by Apoorva Lakhiya and is jointly produced by Reliance Entertainment, Puneet Prakash Mehra, Sumeet Prakash mehra and Flying Turtle films.
