Three biggies for the Republic day

The last week of January will witness the release three big films in Mollywood, all of them important due to a variety of reasons.

The main center of attraction of the season will be Dileep’s 'Calcutta News' which had been in the making for a year. The film, fourth one from the celebrated director Blessy, will also feature Meera Jasmine and Indrajith.

The film is crucial for the actor, as he had already given six months of his career in its making, rescheduling a number of films for future.

Similarly Mohanlal's 'College Kumaran' will also be a much sought after film as it graces theatres after five continuous flops films from the star. Directed by Thulasidas, this is a fun filled campus film in the scripts of Suresh Pothuval.

Mammootty will have his big movie ‘Raudram’ which was originally scheduled for a late November release. The highlight of the film is the police character that the star is donning, after a couple of years. This is the second film directed by Renji Panicker, who is known for his acerbic dialogues.
