Three months, three movies, three flops. Who is the one who has been getting it that bad? It's Kajal Aggarwal. In a span of less than 70 days, she has delivered three flops, two of them being disasters. Two of them in Telugu, and one in Hindi. The debacles are all the more frustrating because two of them were big-ticket releases starring two of the biggest stars of South India. If the April 8 release Sardaar Gabbar Singh sank without a trace, the May 20 release Brahmotsavam, in which she played a role confined just to the first half, came as a double whammy.

In this month the other day, a film came as yet another blow. Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, the Randeep Hooda-starrer has had a dull run at the BO. This must be all the more disappointing to Kajal because she has played the role of blind girl that had her putting in extra efforts. Since she was not playing a run-of-the-mill character, Kajal and her fans sincerely hoped for the efforts to pay off. Moreover, if this film became a hit, she would have got a shot in the arm as far as Bollywood is concerned. This is not to rule out any possibility of Kajal landing author-backed roles in the coming months. She might just get a few good offers, especially if a director or two sees spark in her.

Down South, things are not looking up for Kajal. For one, she has not a single film opposite a top actor. Teja's film starring Rana Daggubati is the only film on the platter. As for Kollywood, the 31-year-old actress has two films lined up for release this year. She is cast opposite Vikram and Jiiva in a film each.
