For the first time, Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar are paired up for Neeraj Pandey's latest film 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'. The Neeraj Pandey directorial is being co-produced by Cape of Good Films, Friday Filmworks and Abundantia Entertainment.
The film's narrative is reportedly based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. A social satire, the movie tackles the menace of open defecation, the shift in mindset, and the wave of social change that is set to transform India.
Presented by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and KriArj Entertainment, the film is slated to release in 2017.
