The Junior Chamber International India (JCI) has given the list of comic awards for the year 2006-07.

The best comedy actor award was conferred on Rajendra Prasad, while the top honour among the female category went to Ramaprabha. The best director award goes to Dhee, which was directed by Srinu Vaitla.

The best film is Yamagola, best hero happens to be Srikant (Yamagola) and the best actor is Naresh (Gopi).

Other awards that were announced included the best actress award for Mamata Mohandas (Yamadonga), best villain for Nazir – Roommates, best supporting actor for Sunil (Dhi) and best supporting actress female for Telangana Sakuntala (Allare Allari), among others.

The awards will be given away on October 28 at Lalita Kala Thoranam.
