Recently, we had reported that actress Pia Bajpai, who plays the female protagonist, BR Vijayalakshmi’s ‘Abhiyude Kadha Anuvinteyum’ had tonsured her head for the film. Now the movie has hit the headlines for an intense lip-lock scene featuring Tovino and Pia. The pictures of the scene are already viral on social media. 

Talking about the bold-scene, Director Vijayalakshmi says, “It’s been a very long time since a film in absolute romance is released. We realized that and have put in our best efforts to be in sync with the present generation. We have picturized a lip lock and the need to shoot this scene was because of the script. As a director, I pitched it to my artists, and they were highly cooperative.” 

Starring Tovino Thomas and Pia Bajpai in the lead, ‘Abhiyude Kadha Anuvinteyum’ is based on a true story that happened in Latin America. The film features Tovino in the role of Abi, a software engineer while Pia plays the role of Anu, a young organic farmer who is raised by a single mother essayed by Rohini in the film. Actors Prabhu, Suhasini, Rohini and Manobala have played vital characters in the movie. 

Ace cinematographer Santhosh Sivan is the executive producer of this bi-lingual flick produced by Yoodlee Films. The makers are eyeing for a monsoon release by October.
