The Tamil thriller film 'Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru, which will be released in Telugu as 'D-16' seems to be a new-age, slick entertainer.

Written and directed by debutante Karthick Naren, the film stars Rahman in the main role. As Inspector Deepak, he is embroiled in a series of murders that could have a psychopath, a sadist or a mere murderer behind them. The motives could be more scarier than the murderer himself, as a dialogue goes.

Rahman is seen in almost every frame, with at least two-three shades to his character. The suspicious looks, the cop's body language, etc hint that we are in for a layered thriller.
