The trailer of Srirastu Subhamastu introduces the film more as a youthful rom-com rather than a family entertainer. It looks like the love story between the lead pair has no stakeholder(s) other than the hero-heroine duo themselves.

Allu Sirish plays a lover boy of the regular sort for the first time (if we consider his character in Kotha Janta as 'hatke' from the mainstream). Complete with a devil-may-care attitude, he pulls the heroine's legs quite many times (sometimes by deliberately touching her waist with romantic intentions). Lavanya Tripathi, on her part, is irritated at all this, cleverly hitting back at her suitor by calling him 'annaya' or 'tammudu'. A fun ride, it seems.

On the face of it, Sirish saying "I lost my identity because of you", to the heroine, seems to be inconsequential as far as the story is concerned.

Prakash Raj here gets a meaty role, we suppose. If he is not enough, the much-happening Rao Ramesh is there. The comedy quotient, additionally, is taken care of by Ali (who distorts the word philanthropist to mean something naughty) and Prabhas Sreenu, among others.

SS Thaman's music got to be awaited. Meanwhile, acclaimed cinematographer Manikandan's work seems to be at a par with some of his best works, which include Mukunda. After all, he is someone who has cranked the camera for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Om Shanti Om, Aparichitudu and the like.
