Trisha regrets not doing Mazhai?

Trisha made it to the top in Tollywood playing the heroine in Varsham. When the movie was remade in Tamil, the producer S P B Charan had sought out the actress to play the same role in Tamil.

Busy with her commitments in Telugu filmdom, she rejected the offer to act in Tamil version Mazhai and the baton was passed to Shreya.

Now after acting in Mazhai Shreya has hit the jackpot. Impressed with her show in the movie, she has been picked to play opposite Rajinikanth in Sivaji by no less person than director Shankar himself.

Shreya herself had thanked Charan and director Raj Kumar for giving her the meaty role in Mazhai which catapulted her to fame here.

Had Trisha played the Tamil version, she would have landed herself the offer, say a few insiders in the industry. Now Trisha would be no doubt regretting her decision.
