In her upcoming film Nayaki` which will also be her first heroine centric film, will portray Trisha as a 20 year old girl which is 12 years less than her age in real life.

Director Govi has said that in his film which has predominant portions set in the 1980s Trisha plays a 20 year old girl and she has been working out hard to reduce weight for the last couple of months so as look fit for the character. The efforts of Trisha to reduce weight were voluntary as the director narrated her character to her, confirmed Govi.

Though the film has a male lead in Ganesh Venkatraman, Trisha will be like the hero of the film, the debutante director reiterated.
