Trisha is said to have expressed her willingness to dub for her role in 'Abhiyum Naanum'. Though director Radha Mohan is yet to take a decision, it is believed that he would give his nod to Trisha to speak for herself in his movie.

Everyone knows that an actor should talk on his or her own should he or she wants to be considered for National Award for acting. Since Abhi gives Trisha a lot of scope to showcase her acting skills, it is but natural for her to willing dub for herself, to be in a position to be considered for the award.

It is worth recalling that actors like Asin and Navya Nair, whose mother tongue is not Tamil, are dubbing for their roles. In fact, Asin has been very particular that she dubs for her films right from the beginning. She learnt Tamil and fine tuned her skills to effectively dub for her films. For her, dubbing is part of acting, without which the performance wouldn’t be complete.

Trisha, on the other hand, has never tried to dub despite being a Tamil girl by birth. She depends on dubbing artiste Savitha to enhance her performance so far. Since Abhi is said to have been getting nicely shaped up, she has got the desire and the confidence to dub.

It would be interesting to see how her effort to lend her own voice to support her role shapes up.
