Trouble for ‘Manmadha Leelai’

It was only yesterday we reported that five heroines (Keerthi Chawla, Monica, Tejashree, Akshaya and Radhika Malhotra) are coming together for a film titled ‘Manmadha Leelai’, directed by ‘Mangai’ Harirajan.

It is now learnt that all is not well with the taking off of the movie, as Harirajan, according to sources, has not got due permission from veteran director K Balachandar, who claims the ownership of the title.

Circles close to the ace filmmaker said that he is planning to remake ‘Manmadha Leelai’, which he made decades ago with Kamal Haasan in the lead, and Harirajan has not approached him for the title.
