The release and distribution of Mollywood director ShyamaprasadÂs much awaited film ÂElectraÂ, which has Nayantara in the lead role, has been stayed by the Ernakulam Principal Munisif Court.
The court has acted according to a petition made by distributor Martin Sebastian, who had alleged that the producer of ÂElectra is trying to release the movie against the earlier agreement reached by them.
Nayantara had been banking heavily on ÂElectra as the film has a meaty role for her. Also her last movie in Tamil, the Arya-starrer ÂBoss Engira BaskaranÂ, is doing extremely well in the box office.
ÂElectra produced by Vindhyan under the banner of Rasika Entertainment features Nayantara along with Manisha Koirala and Prakash Raj. ÂIt is a touching story of human emotionsÂ, sources claim.
