Two Films for Friday

The beginning of September 2014 is having two main releases and one sundry Kannada film. The commercially talked about cinema is Thirupathi Express` of senior producer Shailendra Babu for his son Sumanth Shailender, Ingale Marga` set in the pre independence mood is based on Devaraya` novel on Dalit movement and the third one Garagara Mandla` that was released in some other parts of Karnataka is releasing in city in just one theatre.

THIRUPATHI EXPRESS – This film is expected to bring new image to young and dashing hero Sumanth Shailender. He has made debut in softy Aata` and in romantic film Dilwala`. He is trying his third film with comedy dose. A remake of Telugu super hit film Venkatadri Express`(released in last November in Telugu) in Kannada version Thirupathi Express` features Sumanth Shailender and beautiful Kriti Karbanda in the direction of Pon Kumar. Pon Kumar has given a few notable films like Vishnuvardhana action romantic, a Siamese twins Charulatha` a remake of Maaya Mohini in Kannada Jai Lalitha`. Currently his subject for Tamil super star Rajanikanth is made as Linga` in KS Ravikumar direction.

Shailendra Babu top producer of Kannada cinema has given third chance to his son to gain a ground. It was Aata and Dilwala in the past. Gautham Raj has done editing, Kanal Kannan stunts, Murali is choreographer for Thirupathi Express`.

INGALE MARGA – Based on the novel of well known Journalist from Belgaum Sarjoo Katkar this film is set in the backdrop of pre independence days with main focus on the values of Dr Ambedkar. The guideline of Dr Ambedkar is followed by Devaraya of Ingale in Chikkodi district in 1920 and 30`s. The issue of equality,

education and good status for Dalits in the society are presented on screen in this Ingale Marga`. Ghanshyam Bandage with physically handicap status has invested huge amount on this film making.

Vishal Raj has written screenplay and directed this film for Vaishnodevi Creations debut producer Ghanshyam Bandage. Four songs are scored by V Manohar and Nagaraj Adwani is cameraman. BS Kemparaj editing, Suresh Bhaganavar art direction, Sadanand dance direction are part of this film.
