Udhayanidhi gets a Rajinikanth title for the first time

Udhayanidhi Stalin's maiden action film 'Gethu' has released today on account of Pongal festival season. The film has been directed by Thirukumaran of 'Maan karate' fame and the trailer has created enormous positive buzz about the film.

As announced earlier, Udhay's next after 'Gethu' will be the Tamil remake of Bollywood super hit film 'Jolly LLB'. The title of this project, which has been in the news for several months has been revealed now.

'Manithan' is the title of the Tamil version of 'Jolly LLB' which will be directed by Ahmed of 'Endrendrum Punnagai' fame.It is the title of Superstar Rajinikanth-Rupini starrer that released in 1987.

Haniska will be the lead heroine in 'Manithan' which will have Vivekh, Nasser and Radharavi in important roles. Santosh Narayanan takes care of the musical score while Madhie is the cinematographer.

The title has been announced with the first look poster of the film, which states that the film is in the final schedule of shooting. Which means we can expect an update of audio release and theatrical release of 'Manithan' very soon.
