Twenty one years back Kamal and Shankar made history with 'Indian' which apart from rocking the box office all over the country also earned the hero a National Award amongst hordes of others.  Now the duo are back with the sequel produced by Dil Raju which was announced on the 'Bigg Boss' finale.

'Indian2' will bring back the aged lion Senathipathi fighting against contemporary criminals and it is reported that politics will be the core of the story in line with the Ulaganayagan's active political leanings in recent times.  There is also a buzz that the film will have the mass title 'Leader' in Tamil which will also make the Kamal followers super happy.  The official confirmation along with the rest of the cast and crew details will be out by Diwali.
