According to some reports the period film 'Uliyin Osai' based on a novel written by Kalaignar Karunanidhi is to release on June 13.

It is said that the chief minister was emotionally moved after watching some scenes of the movie.

The director of the film Ilavenil said that by now the chief minister has already seen the movie around 10 times.

The film maker also tells that Kalaignar Karunanidhi's passion for films even at this age is simply amazing and that he is fit enough to be a fantastic director.

The music of 'Uliyin Osai' will be released on June 2.

Chief Minister of Tamilnadu will be the chief guest for the function.

The two great directors of Tamil cinema K. Balachander and Bharathiraja will also be present for the occasion. Bharathiraja will release the audio C.D. and K.Balachander will receive the first copy.
