Superstar Upendra for the first time in his career as an actor from 'A' Kannada film has accepted a guest role that too for a song number in 'Masth Maja Madi' produced by renowned financier of Kannada films Soundarya Jagadish. Upendra is dancing with 10 established heroines of Kannada cinema on two sets and the entire song shoot is estimated to cost Rs.50 lakhs.

'Masth Maja Madi' stars Sudeep, Vijaya Ragavendra, Diganth, Nag Kiran, Komalkumar and Jennifer Kotwal in the prominent roles. Rangayana Raghu and Sihikahi Chandru are also in the supporting cast.

The film is directed by Anantharaju of 'Nanda' Kannada film. Balaji has scored the music and MR Seenu is the cameraman.
