'Urumi' releases big in USA

The Tamil version of cult blockbuster ‘Urumi’ will be seeing a big release this Friday (May 25). Bharat Creation is releasing ‘Urumi’ in USA this Friday. Helmed by ace Santosh Sivan, ‘Urumi’ is a historical fantasy.

The movie is about Vasco Da Gama’s visit to India and a fantasy angle of what could have happened during his visit. It stars an ensemble of star cast including Prithviraj, Prabhu Deva, Genelia, Nithya Menon, Vidya Balan with Arya and Tabu in cameo appearances.

‘Urumi’ is about the warrior clans of Kerala and is one of the biggest projects so far in Indian cinema, having won several international accolades. The movie is red hot in trade and is eagerly expected by Tamil film patrons.
