The following article is by IndiaGlitz user Raj Madiraj and it is not IndiaGlitz's take towards anyone or anything

BASICS:

The movie has its basics wrong. The story is about betrayals. Every character betrays another. It would have better worked as a comedy of errors than a serious flick. It becomes impossible for the viewer to connect and travel with any of them. Be the protagonist, his kin, his love or the antagonist. The screenplay, which the director would have assessed as his biggest asset is the weakest-link in the departments. There are so many twists in the film that none is established and a feeling generated nor none takes the story forward. Performances are average to good. Kalyan Ram has done a decent job as the protagonist, however, he has to control his eyes. They hit the target much before the other body travels. Karthik has a good comeback but Ratna Kumar is a failure as dubbing artist. Suresh has to control his physique, Rao Ramesh is pretty good coz he played on his home ground; Sampath Raj is a value add, a good one. Kriti looked beautiful and confused (Both as the character and actor), Nikesha is sexy and Sitara is motherly.

Rating: 1/5

HONESTY:

The movie is an honest attempt. There are no silly cracks to establish heroism or tickle your bones. Only at places where the props come bombarding the camera you find the director is deviating from his stance. Sunil Reddy the debutant gets his heart right but not the act.

Rating: 4/5

EFFORT:

Effort is enormous and is evident on the screen. The action episodes are well conceived and executed. Actors, Crew, Locales, Effects… everything was well chosen and employed. The problem is with the soul.

Rating: 3/5

INTELLECT:

Not a smart move to make Stereoscopic 3D film out of a mainstream Telugu Action Drama and might go down in the history as a noble cause and a futile exercise. The 3D effects were used more on bullets, axes, tyres and flames hitting the screen with vengeance than creating a depth to the drama on screen. No special technique in lighting for 3D which itself could have given the third dimension. Screenplay, as mentioned before could have been intelligent.

Rating: 2/5

AESTHETICS:

Visuals are good but look dull coz of 3D imaging. Audio design is good. While the songs are appealing, RR sounds like copy pasted from a typical Telugu action flick. Art, Costumes, Makeup, everything are good.

Rating: 2/5

COMMERCE:

The openings are surprisingly good for a Kalyan Ram’s film and the curiosity of 3D technology, Promotions around superstar Rajinikanth patting NKR’s back etc looks to have paid. But I don’t see a reason why people want to watch it again.
