UTV Motion Pictures has a wide distribution network across the globe and releases its Hindi films through that network. It has to its credit the release of over 32 Hindi films through this network! UTV is now releasing its first ever Tamil film worldwide, through 'Muran'!

Muran is being released in USA, UK, Europe, Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and other countries directly by UTV. The regular overseas distributors of Tamil always claim that small and medium films do not get theatrical distribution and they can be released only in Home Video and thus compress the revenue opportunity for such films in overseas markets. However, it looks like UTV has proved all this wrong by getting a good chain of theatres overseas.

UTV is keen in establishing a regular chain of distribution network for Tamil films wishes to use the same network for its future Tamil releases, be it of its own production or films by producers.

Trade sources express that UTV will demonstrate the real and novel market opportunities for South films through its network in the years to come!
