It was in 'Kaavalan' we last saw Vadivelu. Nearly one year after the release of the Vijay-starrer, the ace comedian is making a comeback today, with 'Mambattiyan'. Remember Prashanth and Vadivelu share a great chemistry and their 'Winner' is an example to it.

"I have a pivotal role in Mambattiyan and am happy to work with Prashanth. I play a jameen in this period film. I watched Malayur Mambattiyan when I was in Madurai and it is a privilege to act in its remake," says Vadivelu.

On his future plans, he says, "I am planning to do lead roles henceforth. Because there is no point in doing minuscule roles or cameos... I have decided to explore my full potential. I am sure people will support me in this attempt of mine."
