Producer Valluripalli Ramesh has been elected the new President of Telugu Chalana Chitra Vanijya Mandali. It's a producers' association.

Ramesh has produced 'Ashok', 'Avnu Valliddaru Ishtapaddaru', 'Kabaddi Kabaddi', 'Gopi Gopika' and 'Godavari', among others.

Bodapati Murali-Rajeshwari have been elected the new Secretary. Padmini-Babji duo is vice-presidents. Gemini Kiran, C Kalyan and other industry elders have expressed happiness over the new elect Ramesh. The term of Ramesh and his office is 2 years.
