Director of Super Star` Tamil cinema with origin from Mysuru Gnani makeshis debut in Kannada in Sri Dhanalakshmi Productions. Vara` film went on the floors in Mysuru at SDJ Gold Company. It was a simple muhurut. Gnani basically an industrialist is producer, director and also appearing in the lead role.

It is 90 days schedule for Vara` staring from first week of August. Mysuru, Rajasthan, Coorg and Kashmir are locations identified for the shooting. With story, screenplay, dialogue and direction from Gnani, the film has VK Ramesh Naidu cinematography.

Gnani is paired with Amrutha Ganesh in the lead roles.
