Looks like 'Mister' had a pre release hype which not many could appreciate fully. In spite of mixed talk on Day 1, the film raked in big moolah.

The figure is estimated at Rs. 3.22 cr, which is the highest for a Varun Tej film thus far. This figure is just for the Telugu States.

The holiday season and Sreenu Vaitla-mark comedy are working in the favor of 'Mister', the makers have said. On the other hand, with no stiff competition coming from any major release in the next two weeks, the film is set to go strong till the release of 'Baahubali-2' on April 28, trade analysts have been quoted as saying.
