'Thanks to the Telugu audience for making our film 'Veerappan' such a sensational hit' said the distributor and producer of the film M Venkat Rao in the success meet of the film. The movie casting senior pro Arjun, Lakshmi Roy, Kishore and Ravi Kale in the lead roles released a couple of weeks ago and the producer expressed it to be a great revenue earner, as much in Telugu as in the other languages it was made.

The producer said 'We opened the film with 200 theaters but increased it to 300 in the second week. First week's gross theatrical collections of Rs. One Crore is a record in dubbing films.
