It was a major shock in the life of well known Lahari Recording Company one of the proprietors Velu alias G Thulsiram Naidu on Wednesday late night.

After Velu came out from Dr Ambedkar Bhavan attending the ‘Big 92.7 FM’ film awards a few persons surrounded the vehicle of Velu and pushed the driver Mukunda. The kidnappers pushed Velu in his Maruthi Alto vehicle but Mukund also took the entry by force. As the vehicle started moving around threat on the life of Velu was made by gang who are from ‘Olave Mandhara’ Kannada film producer Govindaraju side. They demanded money for the audio sale of ‘Olave Mandhara’ but it was not a good collector in the audio market. Velu mobile was snatched but got it back as it fell down. He called up his elder brother G Manohar Naidu. The police got the news and cop BB Ashok Kumar became alert and ordered ‘Nakabandhi’. Cop Ashok Kumar spoke to one of the kidnappers on Velu mobile and it was immediate release of Velu on Vidhana Veedhi Road. The gang fled away in their Innova Car No KA – 04-MG-6759.

Immediately after release Velu filed the police complaint and explained the whole episode. As a matter of fact the interaction of Velu and men from Olave Mandhara producer side was noticed inside Dr Ambedkar Bhavan on that night.
