Actor Vemal has 'Anjala' and 'Maapla Singam' waiting to hit the screens. 'Anjala' directed by Thangam Saravanan is expected to release soon.

Now from reliable sources, we learn that Vemal has started shooting for his next film Mannan Vagaiyara` directed by Boopathy Pandian. This film has Mumbai based girl makes her debut as an actress, playing the love interest of Vemal in this film. The yet to be titled film has commenced on 21st of December in and around the interior southern districts of Tamil Nadu, without much fanfare.

Boopathy has earlier directed the super hit films like 'Thiruvilaiyadal Arrambam' with Dhanush in the lead role and 'Malaikottai' with Vishal. With this new film, he has teamed up with Vemal for the first time.
