A bitter war between Venkat Prabhu and C S Amudhan, director of ‘Thamizh Padam’, has at last come to an end, after common friends of the two filmmakers smoked the peace pipe.

Circles close to them say they have buried all the differences upon the request of their pals. Following this, Venkat Prabhu has wished Amudhan on his social networking page saying ' All the very best Dir Amudhan!!!'. It may be recalled that the 'Goa' director greeted 'Thamizh Padam' team on his social networking page when they completed a 50-day run.

It all started with newspaper advertisements, through which Amudhan criticised Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Goa’ and the latter took a comical dig at ‘Thamizh Padam’. Then came a talk show on a television channel, which turned out to be a platform for both the directors to exchange charges at each other.

Circles close to the ‘Goa’ director say some comments made on Venkat Prabhu’s family by Amudhan hurt him a lot. “Otherwise, he would have handled the situation in a cool way. Amudhan, who has made a spoof on Tamil cinema, was unable to digest when someone criticises his film.”

However, they were not ready to elaborate more on this as the issue has come to an end. We at IndiaGlitz too hope for better equations between Venkat Prabhu and Amudhan for hopes on high on both the filmmakers.
