Guardian recently declared the five most memorable cricket moments cinema, and Venkat Prabhu triumphs as the only Tamil filmmaker to feature in the list, with 'Chennai 600028'. The Tamil flick featured at par with the sensational Bollywood movie 'Lagaan' and also Alfred Hitchcock's 'The Lady Vanishes'. 'Chennai 28' is held as a classic by fans as well as critics, and it is no doubt the film fetched Venkat Prabhu pride.

Venkat is busy with his Suriya starrer 'Masss', which is progressing at a fast pace. The director has now confirmed that his next project will be with Escape Artistes Motion Pictures of the hattrick success story 'Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga', 'Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam' and 'Maan Karate' fame.
